Palm Cove Alamanda Chapel wedding - Adam & Amy

Adam & Amy what can we say?

I'm not sure where to start this backstory so I'll jump right to the point where they turned up to meet us for the first time with a bottle of French champagne. Talk about the way to Jules' heart! Not that it was needed as they'd already shown themselves to be two of the best humans that we've been lucky enough to meet! Due to the dreaded C word, we had to postpone their wedding in 2020 but even in the midst of this chaos they were unfailingly upbeat.  And when we did get around to celebrating their day, wow, did they celebrate alright!

These two and their guests now hold the award for the most crazy wedding reception of 2021. When the pants come off you know you're up for next level partying! Warning! If you don't want to see Budgy Smugglers please stop scrolling at the reception photos!

Adam & Amy knew each other for a few years through work connections before they started dating.  A girls night at Amy's local kick started the beginning of their relationship.  Fast forward a few years and the arrival of their son Jaxon, and then Adam though it was time to pop the question.  He whisked Amy off on a adventure tour of Europe, and tried to propose during a totally romantic dinner in Dubrovnik, Croatia.  However, we all know travelling with kids never goes to plan, and before he could ask the question, they had to cut short their dinner as Jaxon was unwell. Happily, Adam tried again later that evening and was most relieved when this went without a hitch.

Their brief for their wedding day was simple: happy, relaxed & fun - big party!

Amy & Adam weren't keen on a long photo shoot.  To them, it was more important that we captured the day, and their relationships with their family and friends rather than spending hours on a photo shoot away from them all.  I have chosen these photos for the blog as I really wanted to show the energy and laughter that they both have and I think their love for each other and the good time they are having really show through.

Thank you SO much guys! It was totally our pleasure to be a part of your day! Stay in touch!
