Sometimes when you meet people, you just know you are going to get along. Thats how I felt when I first me Lani & Andrew. They quite simply are two of the nicest people and I could not wait to photograph their wedding.
This year, I'm excited to be exploring new creative boundaries. I invested ALOT of time in training and working with my photography mentors in the past 18 months, so I arrived in Mission Beach full of excitement and ready to shoot!
However, Mother Nature had other ideas. As I got out of the car, the rain was coming in sideways. It was one of the wettest and windiest days I had ever seen... and to be honest I was a little concerned for their beach wedding!
However, Andrew & Lani were determined to enjoy their day, regardless of what the weather decided to do and they had so much love and good humour to spread around that even the weather decided it best behave itself and stop raining! And as a extra bonus provided us with incredible light and cloud formations to be able to create some real magic!
