Pullman Palm Cove wedding photography 

One of the parts about photographing weddings that we love the most is the people we meet. We like to think we're pretty easy to get along with (no drama wedding photographers here please!), but it's so important to us  that we have a great connection with the people that we photograph. The very best reviews we get are those that say something along the lines of "We totally forgot Benn was there" or "He felt like part of the wedding party". Then we know we've done a great job!

With Louise and James' Palm Cove wedding, we were part of the party from the get go. They made me feel so welcome, were so warm and hilariously funny, they just made my day. They were totally up for just having fun and the energy and laughter in these photos says it all really. Both their children, Marty and Matilda were part of the wedding party and were just totally brilliant.  The best way to include your kids in your wedding day is just to let them do what they want to do and I especially loved that James and Louise didn't really have any expectations about how they were going to be ...they just let them be themselves, and they rewarded us by being so well behaved, with plenty of hilariously funny and super cute moments all day!

James and Louise met in a local bar in Manly and hit it off ridiculously well. Fast forward a couple of years later and James proposed during a romantic walk on the beach after dinner at one of their favourite restaurants.  They were originally set to get hitched in 2020 but then had to reschedule due to Covid so have been waiting to get married for about 3 years. I'm so glad that we were a part of such a wonderful celebration. Thanks so much guys - and Jules says next time you're in Cairns we're meeting up for that post wedding celebration!

One last thing, can we all just take a moment to reflect on how stunning Louise looks please? She looked like a 60's movie star icon. Beautiful!
