I knew from the first moment I spoke with Ryan and Laura that we were going to have alot of fun.
They reminded me of Jules & myself..but 20 years ago; a young couple traveling the world and loving life. And so totally in love with each other it was impossible not to be caught up in their excitement.⠀So its no surprise that they had an incredible wedding day and to make it even better, they had incredible weather.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It was really tough to try to work out which photographs to include in this blog, as we had so many! I absolutely loved the way Laura and Ryan totally threw themselves into the moment and even with my crazy suggestions (I'm just going to lie on the ground over here..." or "BRB, I'm going to to climb that tree..."), they just laughed and went with the flow. I really feel that the energy and emotion that we created and captured is something that really shines through these images, and is a true testament to their personalities and utter happiness of the day.
The very last photograph on this blog is a particular favourite. We were heading back to the cars to say goodbye when I looked behind me and saw this amazing gap in the trees that I had never noticed before. Just shows that even after 12 years of shooting in Port Douglas there are still so many possibilities that I have not discovered yet.
