One of the most sucky things about planning a wedding in Covid times is when your family are all overseas and cannot be there for your day.
Freya and David met in car park at a pub on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere while Freya was on a working holiday visa from Scotland. Fast forward 5 years later to a proposal and planning a beautiful wedding in Australia, with all Freya's Scottish family about to make the trip over here.
Then disaster struck. Covid meant a very different wedding was planned, with some of David's family able to make it, but Freya's family watching in Scotland, via Zoom
Despite all the challenges and the turmoil of having to pause and rethink your plans, these two maintained a steadfast determination to always make the best of the situation and celebrate their love. And they really did. A beautiful ceremony, with a touch of Scottish tradition, followed by celebrations, laughs and lots of love. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to enjoy it with them and we feel honoured to have met them both and helped in a small way.
Congratulations Freya & David!
Lots of hugs, Benn & Jules
